Bishop Matthew Lloyd, Jr.
Bishop Matthew Lloyd, Jr. is the Senior Pastor of Fisher Street Church of God In Christ, International since May 1, 2015. A native of Jonesboro AR, Lloyd has served diligently in the ministry since early childhood. God anointed him to teach the Word through Sunday School and mid-week bible study. He was appointed President of the YPWW in his local church and was later appointed as Assistant Pastor in May 2006. He currently holds local, state, and national positions in the Church of God In Christ, International.
Bishop Lloyd is committed to winning souls for Jesus Christ and uses preaching to provide God’s divine Word to address matters important to salvation, human existence, and for practical application. He believes in the transforming power of the Holy Ghost and with God’s anointing, he ministers to people to experience the fullness of the Holy Ghost power through redemption, restoration, revelation and demonstration. His primary focus is to always glorify God!
Bishop Lloyd has earned his Ed.S degree in Mental Health Counseling from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management also from Arkansas State University. Elder Lloyd is married to the former Miss Kimberly Ann Newsome and is the father of Keith, Kendrick and Gabrielle.
